President Bush Hosts Corporate CEOs at the White House.

Apr. 12--WASHINGTON--As American troops swarmed through Baghdad and Iraqi citizens slapped shoes on Saddam Hussein statues, President Bush invited some special guests to the White House the other day -- corporate CEOs.
War in Iraq may dominate the news, but aides say Mr. Bush has continued to work on the economy. And political analysts say that's wise: American voters are also going to start paying more attention to the problems of their nation.
"The public focus will clearly turn back, quickly and sharply, to the economy," said Norman Ornstein, resident scholar at the American Enterprise Institute. "And it's not in good shape."
