Technology Complex Begins to Rise at Norfolk, Va., State University.

Apr. 25--NORFOLK, Va.--Scientists will poke, analyze and sniff crystals in the hopes of stumbling across a better way of beaming rays of light into energy.
Down the hall of the spacious brick and glass building at Norfolk State University, young children will surf the Internet and conduct basic lab experiments. Their teachers will try to direct them to become engineers and inventors one day.
Next door, hundreds of software and financial executives new to Virginia will have been lured to the campus by the promise that they'll never lose the energy to drive their technology.
