Apr. 14--DON'T RUSH LAST-SECOND TAX TALLYING: Tax Day is Tuesday, and if you haven't yet crunched your numbers, here's some advice: Don't rush through the process.
The last thing you want to do is to make yourself a target for an audit.
"The majority of returns are selected by use of a computer program that scores each tax return for potential error based on past experience," said Phil Beasley, spokesman for the Internal Revenue Service in Dallas.
There are ways to avoid raising the IRS' suspicion.
