Apr. 14--Kathi Pilar has a hard time driving to the grocery store or doing other family errands without running into questions about the vehicle she drives.
When she and her 6,400-pound H2 Hummer nicknamed "My Girl" pull up to a fuel pump, someone always wants to know what kind of gas mileage she gets.
Answer: 11 to 12 miles per gallon around town, or about 320 miles to a 32-gallon tank on the highway. It uses regular unleaded fuel.
"It's really not bad on gas," she says.
