University of Oregon-Eugene Hosts Public Forum on Economic Impact of Iraq War.

May 5--Which corporations have a stake in Iraq, and how might the war and its economic effects be impacting Oregon citizens? Those topics will be explored Tuesday at "The Economics of War" public forum at the University of Oregon.
Speakers will include UO assistant professor Gordon Lafer of the Labor and Education and Research Center; visiting professor Gwyn Kirk, director East Asia, the U.S. and Puerto Rican Women's Network Against Militarism; and Sandra Morgen, director of the UO Center for the Study of Women in Society.
The free, open-to-the-public forum will be at 7 p.m. in 180 Prince Lucien Campbell Hall, 1415 Kincaid St.
