SBC, BellSouth Launch Billing Plan That Links Cellular, Landline Phone Calls.

Jun. 6--Do you make long-distance calls on your cell phone -- even from home -- just because it's cheaper?

Millions do, especially on nights and weekends, when many cell phone plans offer generous and sometimes even unlimited toll-free calling.

But a new pricing deal from SBC Communications, Cingular Wireless and BellSouth could change that by bundling wireless and traditional "wireline" phone calling into a single package.
