Lockheed Martin Files Lawsuit against Boeing.

Jun. 11--Lockheed Martin Corp. on Tuesday launched an attack upon Boeing Co., filing a lawsuit in federal court in Orlando accusing its competitor of fraud and illegal use of Lockheed secrets.

The nation's No. 1 defense contractor claims that unethical behavior by No. 2 Boeing "undermined an investment in excess of $1 billion" and hurt Lockheed's ability to compete for new business here and around the world.

The move came a day after Chicago-based Boeing moved to distance itself from several workers who may have helped the company win a lucrative Air Force contract in 1998.
