Furniture Retailer W.S. Badcock Corp. Gets Ready for New Lakeland, Fla., Store.

Jun. 13--LAKELAND, Fla.--W.S. Badcock Corp.'s new "flagship" store is slated to open in late August or early September and the company's president, Don Marks, is clear on how excited the company is about its new facility.
"This store will present better than a normal store," Marks said. "If it's not the most beautiful of our stores, it's one of the top two or three."
The new store is being built at 6130 S. Florida Ave. in Lakeland and when completed will cost in excess of $1.3 million. The store has been built with high ceilings and will include an atrium area near its entrance, all part of Badcock's desire to build enjoyable places to shop.
