University of Missouri Health Care Will Slash More Jobs.

Jun. 17--For the fifth time in less than three years, University of Missouri Health Care announced a mass round of layoffs this morning.
MU Health announced the layoffs of 61 employees who collectively represent the equivalent of about 51 full-time positions. Although no physicians or nurses were laid off, those who were included personnel from nearly all other departments.
University Hospitals and Clinics eliminated 22 jobs, Columbia Regional Hospital lost 10, and other MU Health divisions eliminated 29. MU Health spokesman Maurice Manring said the affected employees will be notified throughout today as they report to their respective shifts.
