Jun. 20--Pennsylvania state Rep. Brett Feese, (R., Lycoming County), introduced a bill yesterday to replace an expiring telecommunications law that re...uires Verizon Communications Inc. and other local-phone companies to roll out fast Internet service throughout Pennsylvania.
The bill, which has the backing of long-distance phone provider AT&T Corp., is an alternative to a Verizon-supported bill introduced earlier this year by Rep. William F. Adolph Jr. (R., Delaware County).
