Businesses in Arizona's East Valley Prepare for Wave of 'Harry Potter' Fans.

Jun. 21--As East Valley bookstores braced for the tidal wave of Harry Potter fans expected to ring up record sales today, the bounty is sloshing over to other enterprises.
The frenzy over "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix," the latest adventure of the boy wizard and his buddies is boosting business for any shop or service that can make a connection -- from resorts to toy stores, shippers to costume shops. Scottsdale's Fed Ex facility is gearing up for Mother's Day-like volumes as Amazon.com book sales fill up trucks and delivery schedules, said Tim Kelly, managing director for the Arizona, New Mexico and Las Vegas markets.
