Two Former Boeing Staffers Face Federal Theft, Conspiracy Charges.

Jun. 26--Two former Boeing Co. managers were charged in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles on Wednesday with conspiring to steal Lockheed Martin trade secrets related to a competition for a multi-billion dollar Air Force rocket contract.

The two, William Erskine, 43, and Kenneth Branch, 64, are expected to be arraigned in August on charges of conspiracy, theft of trade secrets and violations of the procurement integrity act. If convicted, the two Brevard County men each could face a maximum 15-year prison sentence and fines of as much as $850,000.

Prosecutors said the case is one of the largest involving theft of trade secrets in U.S. history.
