St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis Hires Detroit Administrator as President.

Jul. 29--St. Vincent Indianapolis Hospital has hired a Detroit hospital administrator as its new president.

Patricia A. Maryland takes over as head of the Far-Northside hospital Oct. 6, ending an 18-month search to replace Marsha Casey.

St. Vincent made the announcement Monday after notifying employees.

Maryland is president of the 404-bed Sinai-Grace Hospital in Detroit, one of eight hospitals in the private, nonprofit Detroit Medical Center network, where she also serves as a senior vice president. She has worked in health care for 24 years, including 15 years for the Cleveland (Ohio) Clinic Foundation.
