Residential Construction in Palm Beach County, Fla., to Continue Pace.

Jul. 29--Residential construction in Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast will continue its torrid pace in the months to come, new reports show -- with the Treasure Coast blazing a sizzling path.
Residential building contracts signed in June for future construction in the Treasure Coast skyrocketed 99 percent compared with the same period a year ago, according to the Dodge Reports -- to $130.4 million from $65.5 million in June 2002.
The reports, published by McGraw-Hill, are considered significant because they show where the new-home market is headed, not just what recent sales have occurred.
