Jul. 1--PORT ARTHUR, Texas--Bill Wimberley is on the spot to produce results in cleaning up the air in Southeast Texas.
Wimberley serves as chairman of the regional Air Quality Advisory Committee, a group trying to forge an acceptable pollution control plan that satisfy state and federal re...uirements to comply with the federal Clean Air Act.
He also works as manager of sustainable development for the Motiva Enterprises refinery in Port Arthur, which is one of six plants in south Jefferson County named in a lawsuit filed by residents contending the plants foul the air they breathe in their neighborhoods.
