Manchester, Conn.-Based Filtration Product Manufacturer Taps Chief Executive.

Jul. 2--Lydall Inc. Tuesday tapped former Loctite Corp. Chairman David Freeman as chief executive, saying it needed a stronger management team to lead the company through a period of "significant growth opportunity."
Freeman, a member of Lydall's board since December 1998, said he hopes to double sales of the Manchester-based manufacturer of filtration and insulating products within five years. Lydall's revenue last year was $253.5 million.
Christopher R. Skomorowski, who had been CEO, will be chief operating officer -- a post he held before becoming the Manchester company's top executive, also in December 1998.
