Virginia Representative Skeptical of Plan to Consolidate Military Stores.

Jul. 4--Saying he is the "No. 1 skeptic" of a Pentagon plan to consolidate all of the military's exchanges, Rep. Ed Schrock, R-Va., promised Navy Exchange employees in Virginia Beach on Thursday that he will follow developments daily and "be your watchdog."
Schrock is a retired Navy captain whose 2nd District represents most of Virginia Beach's and Norfolk's heavily military areas. In an interview after the meeting, Schrock said he doesn't know why the Pentagon has again surfaced a plan to consolidate the military department store-like shops.
