GE Offered Incentive to Move Nuclear Energy Hub to New Hanover County, N.C.

Jul. 8--General Electric is getting a $500,000 incentive to relocate its Global Nuclear Energy head...uarters to New Hanover County.

The New Hanover County Board of Commissioners on Monday approved an incentive package that includes two installment payments of $250,000. The first grant will be paid to the company after the Castle Hayne plant has been renovated and receives a certificate of occupancy. The other half would be paid after 100 employees have moved into the renovated facility.
