United Technologies Chairman Nets Millions in Stock Deals.

Jul. 10--George David, chairman of United Technologies Corp., netted about $14.3 million over the past month exercising options and selling shares in the company's stock.
With the stock trading at a little more than $71 a share, David exercised 510,000 options -- priced between $16 and $17 apiece -- from mid-June to the start of July. The options were set to expire in early 2004, said Paul Jackson, a spokesman for Hartford-based UTC.
David then sold some 240,000 shares at market rates to pay the taxes and transaction costs, according to filings with the federal Securities and Exchange Commission.
