AARP Opens Customer Care Center in Sunrise, Fla.

Jul. 22--Most of AARP's 35 million members nationwide probably never will notice the change, but the 10,000 to 15,000 phone calls, e-mails and letters that come daily to the country's largest organization for midlife and older adults now will be flowing through Sunrise.
On Monday, AARP formally opened its new and largest customer care center, which eventually could house up to 400 employees. The program was relocated from Texas to Florida after Precision Response Corp. won the AARP contract in April.
