San Francisco-Based Operator of Hotels, Restaurants Makes New York Debut.

Jul. 22--A San Francisco-based operator of upscale bouti...ue hotels and restaurants, mostly on the West Coast, has debuted in New York City, with a contract to manage the recently sold Doral Park Avenue Hotel. And the company is seeking additional Manhattan properties.
The Kimpton Hotel and Restaurant Group took over management of the 188-room hotel at Park Avenue and East 38th Street on July 15. It plans to rename the hotel once a $19-million renovation and expansion to 205 rooms is completed ...
