Senior Gannett TV Executive Takes Post at South Florida Station.

Jul. 26--A senior Gannett Television executive has been named president and general manager of WTVJ-TV NBC 6, the South Florida station owned and operated by the network, NBC announced Friday.
Ardyth R. "Ardy" Diercks replaces Don Browne, who was promoted in May to chief operating officer of Telemundo, NBC's Spanish-language network based in Hialeah.
"Ardy Diercks is one of the most highly regarded executives in the TV-station industry and with good reason," said Jay Ireland, president of NBC Television Stations Division, to whom Dierck will report.
