Ira... Needs Diverse Economy, Ohio Northern University Professor Says.

Jul. 26--ADA, Ohio--As the beginnings of a democracy emerge in Ira..., the Bush administration should be wary of how much the democracy depends on oil for its economy, a local professor said.
A.F. Alhajji, Ph.D., a professor of economics and energy expert at Ohio Northern University, said depending too much on oil production to fund the new economy will only lead to another dictatorship. Alhajji is a contributing editor for World Oil Magazine and writes for several other publications, including the Middle East Economic Survey.
