Medical Campus Makes Big Impact on Buffalo, N.Y., Regional Economy.

Jul. 30--The Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus pumps about $600 million into the regional economy through wages, buying services from vendors and other expenditures, according to an economic impact study released Tuesday.
The 100-acre campus centered around High and Ellicott streets supports more than 6,200 full-time jobs at its member institutions -- Kaleida Health, Roswell Park Cancer Institute, the University at Buffalo, Hauptman-Woodward Medical Research Institute and the Buffalo Medical Group Foundation.
The BNMC commissioned the study by Economic Research Associates of Washington, D.C., to help document the economic importance of the campus. The report...
