Universal Studios in Orlando, Fla., Eliminates Jobs of Two Vice Presidents.

Aug. 13--Universal Orlando on Tuesday eliminated the jobs of two vice presidents as part of a reorganization that cut fewer than a dozen employees.

The company disclosed few details about the restructuring, such as which positions and departments were affected. The resort is one of Central Florida's largest employers, with about 12,000 workers.

Spokesman Jim Canfield said the positions range from clerical to executive levels and that the restructuring, in "administrative, back of house areas," was meant to improve efficiency.
