Boeing Seeks Few Good Engineers for Jet Not Yet Approved.

Aug. 19--Boeing's board of directors won't decide the fate of the proposed 7E7 for several months, but some human-resources directors are already acting as if the project is a "go."
Vought Aircraft Industries, the only U.S. supplier officially named to the project so far, currently lists four 7E7 engineering jobs on its Web site. Two of the openings are for product-design engineers and two are for structural engineers. All re...uire significant experience working with composite materials such as carbon fiber.
Boeing has said the 7E7 will be the first all-composite commercial airplane, with aluminum and other metals confined to supporting roles.
