Cell Tower Is Finally Erected in Nahant, Mass.; Town Official Praises Move.

Aug. 21--NAHANT, Mass.--After three years of research, negotiations and zoning bylaw changes, many of the town's cellphone owners will soon be able to conduct a full conversation without being abruptly discontinued in mid-sentence.

Last spring, after Verizon Wireless decided not to build a planned cellphone tower in Nahant, Sprint PCS stepped in, and agreed to construct a new tower that would enhance service to its customers.
