Aug. 25--INSURER HOPES TO SELL BOATLOADS: About 10 years ago, Hinckley Marine Insurance was a low-key little insurance agency for yachts.
Now the company has big plans to build its customer base nationwide, and it's starting with a location in Stuart.
"Florida is a very large state for us," said Lee Judd, president of the Southwest Harbor, Maine-based company. "It's part of our plan to be a nationwide provider of insurance for yachts. We thought it would be better to carve out a niche in a ...uiet area."
