Aug. 25--THERE'S BIG INTEREST IN BOFA'S MINI CARD: Bank of America Corp.'s Mini Card -- tiny versions of their debit and credit cards -- have taken the nation by storm.
More than 13 million of the tiny cards have been issued in less than a year, and the Charlotte-based company reports a "significant" increase in account use by the card holders.
"What our customers are telling us is definitely that it is cool and innovative, but the main reason they are using it is for convenience," said Mini Card manager Jamily Pentz, who created the Mini Card idea.
