Thailand's Market for Alternative Investment Slated for 15-20 New Entries.

Aug. 25--Soaring investor sentiment in the local e...uity markets is expected to help draw some 15 to 20 new companies to list on the Market for Alternative Investment (MAI) by the end of the year.
Another thirty companies are projected to enter the main Stock Exchange of Thailand by December, according to Sopawadee Lertmanaschai, chairwoman of the SET Capital Market Opportunity Center.
She said the MAI, set up two years ago to target small- and medium-sized enterprises, was now becoming a popular choice for media and advertising companies, in part owing to the strong performance posted by production house Matching Studio since its listing earlier this...
