Orlando Fla., Lockheed Whistleblower to Gain $8.75 Million from Settlement.

Aug. 28--More than eight years ago, Albert D. Campbell, then a financial analyst at Lockheed Martin Corp. in Orlando, blew the whistle on his employer.

After years of struggle since, the 50-year-old Campbell is now a multi-millionaire -- or days away from becoming one -- thanks to a deal the federal government announced on Wednesday.

Lockheed agreed to pay the government $37.9 million to settle Campbell's accusation of big overcharges on Air Force contracts performed by the company's former electronics-and-missile unit in Orlando.
