Nevada Power Sets Deadline for Renewable Power Proposals.

Aug. 6--An executive with a national renewable power organization told Nevada officials on Tuesday that incentives and other benefits from photovoltaic solar panels could result in a 40 percent cost savings over 20 years for schools, small businesses and offices.
George Sterzinger, executive director of the Renewable Energy Policy Project in Washington, D.C., made the comments during a presentation to the Nevada Renewable Energy Task Force in Henderson.
He was asked to do calculations using Assembly Bill 431, which calls for solar energy demonstration programs for schools and public buildings, houses and small businesses. It was sponsored by Assemblywoman...
