Delta Air Lines Executive Discusses Ways to Rejuvenate Operation.

Aug. 11--Striving to pull out of a financial tailspin, Delta Air Lines is looking at everything from in-flight television to old-fashioned customer service to win back business from low-cost competitors.
"We've lost the edge," said Vicki Escarra, the No. 3 airline's executive vice president in charge of marketing.
Speaking on Thursday at a corporate pep rally in Orlando, the third of six such events scheduled this summer, she said the airline must cut costs and make people want to fly Delta.
"When is the last time you told someone, 'You'll love flying Delta?' " she asked 200 employees gathered in a ballroom at the Hyatt Regency at Orlando...
