Aug. 2--As the Internet becomes a standard fixture at home as well as the workplace, it is also becoming a standard tool for learning.
Online and CD or DVD tutorials, in particular, are increasingly used to learn software programs and other new technologies.
As a lifelong teacher and learner, I'm curious about alternative methods of learning and recently have gone through classroom training, online and disc tutorials. I've also learned by reading books, articles and plenty of Web pages.
These are excellent ways to learn, but some are more effective than others for particular learning goals.
