Retailer Hat World to Expand Operations into Asia.

Aug. 5--Hat World Inc. always has had hats. Now it's living up to the rest of its name.
After several years of explosive expansion and ac...uisitions inside the United States, the Indianapolis-based ball cap retailer is taking its stores outside the country to another part of the world -- South Korea.
The company will open its first overseas store next month in Seoul followed by as many as 75 more locations in South Korea over the next five years.
"You could argue that Hat World now meets its theme," said Bob Dennis, chief executive officer and chairman. "We own stores in other parts of the world."
