Discount Store Replaces Office Max in Superior, Wis.

Sep. 4--The former Office Max structure in Superior, Wis., soon will house a Dollar Days discount store.

Dave Stock, president of Dollar Discount Stores Inc., said his company has signed an 11-year lease for the building at 3625 Tower Ave. The Superior businessman aims to open a new Dollar Days store on the site by mid-October.

Office Max pulled out of Superior in March of 2001, just 17 months after opening in the 23,500-square-foot structure, which was developed for $1.5 million by an independent Wilmington, N.C., real estate investment firm.
