Sony Introduces Third Generation of Robot Dog Toy.

Sep. 4--Martin Deeley isn't worried about losing his job as a dog trainer.
Even with today's launch of Sony's third generation robotic canine, AIBO, Deeley doesn't envision digital dogs ever taking over for the real thing.
"I hope we would never see a world where there weren't as many dogs around," said Deeley, owner of City Dawgs training center in Montverde and also president of the International Association of Canine Professionals, a global support group for vets, groomers and trainers.
Not likely. Canines still rule in this matchup with plastic, programmable pooches. There are millions of real dogs compared to 100,000 AIBOs around the world....
