Picket Lines Disrupt Yale Classes.

Sep. 4--NEW HAVEN, Conn.--They were in a strange building, on a street many had never heard of, and the professor who was supposed to be teaching "Place, Power and Identity" was nowhere to be found.

It was the first day of class for sophomore Brett Hernandez, but already she felt lost.

"Have you seen our teacher?" she asked a passing security guard in New Haven's City Hall.

"Could she be striking herself, in the picket lines?" another student wondered aloud.

"No!" a third student said. "She's a professor!"
