Hooters Air Operator Could Get Boot from Winston-Salem, N.C., Site.

Sep. 11--Pace Airlines, which operates Myrtle Beach-based Hooters Air, could be losing its Winston-Salem, N.C., home unless it is allowed to continue its month-to-month operating agreement at Winston-Salem's Smith Reynolds Airport.
Pace, which was purchased in December by Myrtle Beach entrepreneur Bob Brooks, owner of the Hooters restaurant chain, was given a deadline of 5 p.m. Friday to vacate its Winston-Salem hangar space.
It was unclear Wednesday whether that could mean a relocation to Myrtle Beach. Local airport officials have discussed that possibility. Neither Richardson nor Hooters Air officials could be reached Wednesday for...
