Henry Ford is Numero Uno in the hearts of the 58 authoritative respondents. The man who turned America into a nation of drivers won by a 40 percent margin over No. 2 Bill Gates, the only living soul in the Top 10.
John D. Rockefeller, the nation's first billionaire, came in third.
Scoring was the total votes weighted by ranking order. A first place selection, for example, counted 10 points....
