Plant City, Fla., Freeze-Dried Product Maker Joins Food Conglomerate.

Sep. 12--PLANT CITY, Fla. -- Opening the door to new markets and setting the stage for the introduction of new product lines, Crystals International Inc. has joined one of the world's largest processed foods conglomerates.
Crystals International's chief executive officer, Jennifer Closshey, confirmed Thursday that the Kerry Group, based in Tralee, Ireland, has bought the Plant City company.
Closshey wouldn't reveal the sale price or details of the transaction. Kerry's corporate offices could not be reached for comment Thursday.
Crystals International isn't a household name, but its freeze-dried products are widely used by companies such as Outback...
