Denver-Based Airline Reaches Regional Agreement with Alaska Air Subsidiary.

Sep. 18--Frontier Airlines has reached an agreement with Horizon Air to operate its regional-jet operations, according to sources.

Frontier will announce details of the deal today during a news conference at Denver International Airport. Representatives of each company would not comment Wednesday.

Frontier, Denver International Airport's second-largest carrier with about 14 percent of passengers, recently lost its regional-jet partner, Mesa Air Group.

Mesa has agreed to fly regional operations for United Airlines in Denver, requiring it to drop rival Frontier by year's end. As Frontier JetExpress, Mesa flies to a handful of Frontier's 38 destinations....
