Sep. 24--Scanner maker PSC Inc. won't be moving its headquarters from Portland to the Seattle area after all. Also, the firm is looking for a new CEO.
The company, which employs about 560 workers at its factory in west Eugene, had announced in June plans to move its corporate offices to Bothell, Wash., north of Seattle.
CEO Ed Borey, who resigned on Monday, had said the move would help the company's high-tech image and improve staff recruitment.
The move was expected to have little effect on the company's Eugene facility, although some administrative functions eventually might have been transferred from Eugene to Bothell.
