News Corporation's Top Executives Get UKpound 25 Million in Bonuses.

Sep. 23--Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation media empire paid more than UKpound 25 million bonuses to its top executives for the year to June.
Murdoch, who is chairman, got a total package of UKpound 8.4 million ($14 million) made up of UKpound 2.7 million salary, UKpound 4.5 million bonus and UKpound 1.2 million other payments. Options now worth UKpound 5.3 million, previously disclosed, mature this year.
President and chief operating officer Peter Chernin was again the top-paid executive. He collected UKpound 10.5 million ($17.3 million). His UKpound 4.8 million bonus was the largest of the top team. Previously disclosed options of UKpound 9 million mature this year.
