Thai Stock Exchange Expected to Start Bond Trading by End of Month.

Sep. 25--The Stock Exchange of Thailand expects to open bond trading services by the end of the month.
Kesara Manchusree, vice-president of the SET's Financial Instruments Market Project, said a total of 100 billion baht worth of corporate debentures were expected to be available for trade in the early stages.
Bonds expected to be available on the SET would include 90 billion baht in debentures issued by Siam Cement and debentures issued by TelecomAsia.
Mrs Kesara said each trade would be set in lots comprising of 100 units.
Debentures are typically set at 1,000 baht par value per unit, although some issuers set lower par value amounts....
