Adobe to Unveil Recast Version of Photoshop.

Sep. 29--Photoshop, the iconic piece of software that for more than 13 years has let people touch up digital photographs, gets its scheduled makeover Monday -- and this time, it's being recast as the champion of Adobe Systems' effort to sell more of its tools to digital artists.
San Jose-based Adobe plans to announce new versions of its Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and GoLive software, elements of its "creative professional" line of products.
And for the first time, Adobe will showcase them as if they are one big bundled product, rather than several pieces of software packed together in a box. It's an idea made familiar by Microsoft Office, which has...
