Adobe to Unveil Recast Version of Photoshop.

Sep. 29--Photoshop, the iconic piece of software that for more than 13 years has let people touch up digital photographs, gets its scheduled makeover Monday -- and this time, it's being recast as the champion of Adobe Systems' effort to sell more of its tools to digital artists.

San Jose-based Adobe plans to announce new versions of its Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and GoLive software, elements of its "creative professional" line of products.
