Lieberman Plans Fund-Raiser on Sept. 11; Expert Calls Event 'Inappropriate'.

Sep. 9--WASHINGTON -- Sept. 11 is President Bush's day, the remembrance of the make-or-break event of his presidency. And that means it's probably the toughest day of the year for Bush's White House rivals.
They can ratchet up the rhetoric hour after hour, day after day, questioning his anti-terrorist and Iraq policies, but not on Sept. 11.
If they do dare to look too obviously political, they risk strong criticism. Joe Lieberman is taking that risk.
He plans to host a fund-raiser in Miami Thursday night.
