Sep. 26--Dell Inc. is getting into the music business.
The Round Rock computer maker will launch a Dell-brand digital music player and online music store this holiday season. The MP3 player, dubbed the Dell Digital Jukebox, is the centerpiece of the company's new push into the home electronics market.
Dell's announcement Thursday was light on details, such as how much its music service might cost or what music it might include. But it represents a bold move into an uncertain market for a company not known for its pioneering spirit.
