Hard Rock Cafe International Names New Chief Operating Officer.

Sep. 30--Orlando-based Hard Rock Cafe International, without a local leader since the surprise departure of its chief executive eight months ago, said Monday it has promoted one of its vice presidents to the post of chief operating officer.
David Catalano, the restaurant-and-entertainment chain's vice president of operations for nearly two years, will take on additional responsibilities in retail sales and research-and-development in addition to overseeing the operation of all domestic and international restaurants.
Company officials said the search for a chief executive officer will continue, but they expressed pleasure with the latest appointment....
