Quarterly Net Income Doubles at Lindsay Manufacturing of Omaha, Neb.

Oct. 15--Lindsay Manufacturing Co., a maker of center pivot, lateral move and hose reel irrigation systems, Monday reported a 107 percent increase in fourth-quarter net income on a 1.5 percent increase in revenue.

The Omaha company posted net earnings of $1.9 million, or 16 cents a share, in the three months that ended Aug. 31, up from $915,000, or 8 cents a share, in 2002's fourth quarter.

Revenue rose to $33 million.
